Issue 787
No more need to visually hunt for the gizmo, have the gizmo come to the center of the screen.
Problem: Sometimes with large object or objects off screen, when they are selected the gizmo can be located far away off screen and needs to be hunted down to be found with a different camera than the project.

Solution: With a shortcut key the gizmo can be temporarily placed in the center of the 3D viewer with an animated snap travel to where is it normally located. This animation can help locate a prop's position in the world or to use the gizmo from elsewhere than the prop's pivot point conveniently.

Example: We select a prop called "mountain" in the scene manager as we want it to another location, then hit "W" to reveal the translate gizmo but it doesn't show in the 3D viewer, to find it we can hit let's say [ shift ] + [ f ] this animates the gizmo to go from the pivot point of the prop to the center of the screen. Now there's a letter "R" to indicate a remote gizmo, now we can move, rotate or scale the prop without needing to go visually hunting for its pivot location. With [ shift ] + [ f ] again the gizmo moves back to the prop's pivot center as an animation. The animations will help us find the actual pivot point of a prop no matter where we are looking in the 3D viewer.

Great minds think alike.
I suggest this is a duplicate (or an expansion to) this post:
