iClone 7

Issue 7183
Morphs failed during animation.
i have two characters.

A = neutral base female
B = neutral base female with large hands.

both "send" to iclone.

A is using morph creator to use the "obj" of B to morph large hands.

This would technically allowed "avg hand to large hand" morph animation in the timeline.

However, the morphs of A would fail during animations. See the pic for the hands.

It was pretty prominent with full body morphs as well. Affecting not only hands, eyes, and mouth. There could be other morph issues as well with this technique.

We need the ability to morph and animate correctly during the timeline to have more animation impact.

Hi Procrastinator,

I'm very sorry that it's a specification limit.The problem you met is an offset-center issue, iClone doesn't support bone translate and scale, if the shape changes too much by morph animation, the bone will offset from the origin center , then the motion will go wrong!

Hi, the character hand looked strange after animation (which was adjusting the bone). I believed that the morph did not take into consideration for the bone scaling required for the morphing process.

Please see the sample image and video that i have posted to make sense of what i had mentioned here.
