Morph Shapes are lost when merging materials twice.
I am using CS4 and Camilla as the character. I added different clothing to her. shirt, pants and jeans. the goal is to merge the materials of the 3 items of clothing and then merge the mesh to one mesh. and merge the materials of the body parts of camilla together and merge them to one mesh all while retaining her blends on her face. I started by merging the body part materials together, everything except for her brow. once they merged to one map I then merged her mesh together with the body being the target mesh. Once done, her body was 1 mesh. and it retained its blendshapes. Now When I merged materials a second time checking just her clothing, nothing to do with her bodyparts, I loose the blends on the face of the body. Am I missing something? why does the body mesh now get affected on a material merge of a seperate mesh.
