I hope for more and better particle effects in iClone
Examples: - 3D particles - Particle bounce, or block when hitting a wall or a hidden layer. (Looks strange when smoke and fire continues through items) - Light and shadow influence on particles - Particle overall scale settings (to change size of whole particle at the same time) - Reduce speed on particle (better looking slow smoke etc) - Group several particle effects (without parent to prop) - Pre start so particle is fully grown at frame one when rendering
It would be good to have some kind of simulator too that could be used to create realistic fire,smoke etc such as TurbulanceFD.
Also an improved destruction effect would be better, such as Fracture-FX

I'd add a pre baking time for particles. Now we have to wait several seconds until the desired effect shows up completely. If we could tell iClone to start the particle calculations those seconds before the project starts playing, the animation would start with the particle effect complete from the frame nº 1.
Also, a seed key is needed. Now the effect always occurs randomly. That's OK for fogs, fires, etc... But if I want to create an asteroid field, for example, the asteroids show up randomly every time I play so I can't define a path for my space ship to pass through. Setting a seed value like Hitfilm does, ensures that the particles are always generated in the same way.

I think that this would be a good idea especially with the new renderer that's on the Horizon. I would like to add to it volumetric effects
