Light only goes on where it was created on the timeline

At frame 1000

Menu:
Create> Spot light

Move it's location.
Adjust its color and settings.

Right click menu:
Remove Object Animation

All its keyframes vanish as it should.

In the scene list it is indicated as ON.

Go to frame 1 the Spotlight is OFF, still indicates ON in scene list.

Only goes ON on frame 1000 onward.

Zero keys found for that light or in fact no keyframes at frame 1000 whatsoever.

No file evidence available as I immediately wanted a spot light so I deleted it and created a new spot at frame 1 to fix it.

OS: Windows 10

Hi Dragonskunk,

The function of Remove Object Animation is not a same with manually deleting keys.
Removing Object Animation will transfer the current frame data to frame 1. All the others key data will be deleted.

Hi, I had a little test with this bug and found out it was not toggling correctly

On the on and off switch 

But until the bug is fixed

I have two ways to over come this problem 

1.	point your light somewhere else ( in the off position)

Or

2.	make a invisible shield to stop the light coming through ( in the off position)
