Issue 11496
Issue with Translucent GI
When I apply Translucent GI the object (on screen) becomes completely invisible and displays a feint outline of the object's interior mesh. The visibility of the object is not affected by altering the strength of opacity channel- either by slider or by adjusting the brightness on the opacity texture, only the visibility of the mesh is affected.
I have opened older iProjects and find that this is now happening in those projects where it did not happen at the time I created them. This problem is only on screen, the transparency renders correctly.
I have tested this problem from a computer restart so fairly confident its not a system memory issue. The opacity works fine if I switch to Alpha Threshold.
The .jpg enclosed is a screen shot of the mesh being displayed when Translucent GI is applied. I have overlaid an inset showing the rendered output to be correct.

Hi Lanzaboy

Sorry for the late reply.

After looking into the issue, you can update iClone to the latest version, and that should resolve your problem.

I hope this helps you.

Hi Lanzaboy

Don't know if you have solved the problem yet.

If not, I hope you can help us by recording an operation video and uploading it to YouTube or Google Drive.

Just to add so that all related issues are fixed.
If you apply a tessellation to Translucent GI objects, they would disappear completely (not even wire-frame is visible) and moreover they do NOT render either.
Objects are getting affected only if the Opacity slider is less that 100 and/or there is an opacity map present (even if it's purely white).

Attached the screenshot of view-port and render.
(she supposed to have heels there :) )
