1) Load the scene Abandoned House that comes with Iclone (so it should work, as this is an Iclone product) 2) Start the export plugin to Indigo 3) select the video size to be HD (1920x1080) 4) select all frames to be exported (3180 frames) 5) make sure you have enough free HD space (I have 900GB free) 6) press export.
Depending on what type of computer you have the plugin and Iclone will crash after 50-100 frames, at 1-2% of render.
This has been raised in issue 465 and many others and also in cases already. I hoped this would be fixed with 6.5 release but it is not.
my iclone 6.52 crashes when I try and chage the indigo render settings to range . The program literally just dissapears and crashes without any warning or error message . Im starting to thing there is no customer service and im regretting spending over a thousand dollars on your software . Please get back to me as im needing this to work as I use it for work . hey raxel 67. As Iclone is exporting frame by frame there should be no need for filling more and more memory. I assume there is a code missing to erase the memory once a frame has been exported. At least an interim solution would be to store the igs file for the set of frames so far exported. At least then you can render what has been exported so far. Sometimes that takes hours and at least you don't use the work done until then.
Also I noted that the software uses one CPU only. It would be much quicker to make usage of all CPUs :-)

I agree with this issue and I have given up trying to render any kind of animation from iClone to Indigo. Of course, when an update presents itself, I always try again only to be disappointed. :(
