Okay, problem resolved. Get ready to laugh. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Accidentally rename all your non-extension Windows\System32 files to "*".png. 2. Drive yourself to madness as you trouble shoot for 4 hours 3. Blame Reallusion for buggy software 4. Realize you are a dummy! Huge face palm. Turns out this was a .dll / system file problem as expected. So if anyone is having issues with Reallusion related content/apps... a good place to start looking for a solution may be your system files!
Followed all registry and firewall/defender instructions, and even performed a clean install as administrator after these changes were made. Is it possible that this related to corrupt .dll or library files?
Thanks for your reply and feedback. Please try to see if the following method can solve your problem 1) Temporarily disable any security program, such as Windows Defender, software firewall, hardware (router) firewall, antivirus, phishing filter, ad-blockers from toolbars。 2) Adding the related program folder (eg: C:\Program Files\ActorCore AccuRIG\ActorCore AccuRIG.exe) and also the folder (C:\Program Files\ActorCore AccuRIG\Sample Character) to the Windows Defender white list. More info: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/security/defender-endpoint/customize-controlled-folders?view=o365-worldwide 3) Make sure you login with Administrator privilege on your PC. 4) You can delete the following registry key to restore default settings. Open Registry Editor: Press Windows Key + R, type “regedit”, and press Enter. Locate the path to delete: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Reallusion\ActorCore AccuRIG Allen Reallusion
