Feedback Tracker - status drilldown
Greetings RL,

Kindly requesting please for a status drill-down feature for FT to bring more clarity on the status.

1. Does "hold" or "assigned" mean the same for every item? So we hold till when - is there a revisit/review date?

2. What is "under discussion"?

3. What is approved for development?

4. Also a probability indicator (confidence level that ties reviewed (sized) requests to development path)
e.g. for issue / suggestion X:
* 10% Confidence X will be rolled out in iClone 6.5,
* 50% Confidence X will be rolled out in iClone 6.9,
* 90% Confidence X will be rolled out in iClone 7.0,
* 100% Confidence X will be rolled out in iClone 7.x,

This can help manage expectations - which is like 80% determinant of the user experience.

Another thing.. it would also be great if FT or iClone can make me a cup of coffee in at 7.00am sharp every day and get me a drink from the fridge when I am watching TV. (just kidding hehehe)

I think #4 in the original post is asking a bit much (never hurts to ask, I guess), but I totally support #1, #2, and #3.

Does "Active" simply mean "Received?"  Or does it imply more?
What does "Hold" mean?
Does "Assigned" mean it is assigned to a developer, or that it is targeted (assigned) to a particular release, such as iClone 6.8?

We also need a "Closed" or "Rejected" status, which should always include a brief explanation of "why."

I would also like to see Feedback Tracker be listed as a Product, exactly for topics like this.
1
