Fail to open project at 25% (Process to render). Just crash and close it without any message or explanation
iClone 8 keeps closing without any message when I try to open a saved project file, stopping at 25%. This happens after working on a project in iClone 8.4.2, testing animations, and saving the project. I have an NVIDIA graphics card with 8GB of RAM and a powerful PC running Windows 10 with plenty of space on the HDD.

Could you please let me know if iClone is only suitable for animations under 1GB and small project files, or if there’s a specific issue causing this? I’ve found many users complaining about this problem and contacting support, but no one seems to have provided a clear solution or explanation. And as for using Alembic animations—it’s even worse. The program just closes; it’s a disaster.

If your computer's specifications are sufficient, loading larger but normal files typically shouldn't be an issue (though it might be slower). Therefore, the cause of the crash may not solely be due to the file size.

If possible, could you provide us with your file so that our engineers can investigate the issue?
