Fail to export .FBX with InstaLOD enabled (For Unity 3D)
Steps to reproduce : 1. Open CC3 v.3.44 2. Don't modify the default character 3. Go to File/Export/.FBX (Clothed character) 4. Choose Unity 3D presets 5. Enable InstaLOD 6. Click Export
Result : Fail to export, error says : "Process polygon reduction failed, please try again." A first progress bar successfully go until 100%, then a second one fails at around 70% and a popup error is displayed.
Expected result : .FBX export with polygon reduction.
I have the same problem. Reinstall didn't fix the problem. I have cc3 and the corresponding extension. I downloaded it via Hub. I have a fairly solid configuration where the latest programs fit flawlessly, so I don't think I have a hardware or even operating system problem. I tried many different settings and it always stopped around 73-75%. ERROR. Please, the creators of the program, fix the problem as soon as possible, because I actually bought the program because of istaLOD, thank you!

that seems to have helped when exporting the default character, still crashes when exporting mine,
Steps to reproduce :
1. Open CC3 v.3.44
2. Open my Project with a CC3 character and clothes, but my vest
3. Go to File/Export/.FBX (Clothed character)
4. Choose Maya presets
5. Enable InstaLOD and the merge materials option (no mesh)
6. Click Export

did this stay fixed? i am getting the same issue when using the istalod plugin to merge maps, stalls out at 75%

Problem solved with a clean reinstall.
