Issue 7414
Exporting biped to FBX files to 3dXchange for remapping giving undesirable results
Hello.
I am trying to edit a guitar playing hand motion to strum a simple reggae chord motion.
I followed one of your tutorials (This one to be precise:-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQGYoPC7llo )
"iClone Pipeline Tutorial - Applying Motions from iClone to 3DS Max CS Biped Characters.
After I export my character from 3ds max and import it into 3DXchange Pipeline 7 I click the "Convert to Non-Standard" I then select the 3ds Max Biped option for conversion.
But this command appears to be broken (Not working) Please see enclosed picture.
I have been trying to get this to work for a few days now so please do not side track the issue and talk about getting my character in a perfect T-pose as I have had to mapped all the unmapped bones manually including all the finger bones(too many times).
In summing up 3DXchange Pipeline 7can't convert 3ds Max biped to Non-Standard and I wish it did so I can do some music playing animation.
However I can convert the Biped from 3ds max using Maya Human -IK from the dropdown menu.
This does not make for logical counter intuitive thinking. I do not have Maya and I have not exported from Maya so where does this kind of logic come from?
