Issue 873
Exporting Panorama Videos with 4096x2048 frame size missing
I have studied a couple tutorials and the iClone help manual. The manual says “The value of the camera lens for Panorama Videos is strict. Therefore, you are not allowed to customize this value when the Exporting Panorama feature is turned on.” Both tutorials I looked at showed frame size settings of 4096 x 2048. This is the 2:1 aspect ratio I need.

However, I cannot figure out how to get these Render frame size settings. My settings won’t exceed “Ultra HD (3840 x 2160)” and of course Custom does nothing.

This seems to be forgotten. I think it's time to resubmit for iClone 7.

I agree that this is an important feature. RL needs more focus on 360 features to seriously play in the VR world.

I agree,

IClone is a great app but I jumped into clone strictly for making 360 VR content. I hope this will be added soon.

Thank you and regards.

Besides the needed aspect ratio of 2:1, the possibility of a higher output resolution is desirable too. From the YouTube specifications page:

"For the best results, encode your video at a high resolution and according to YouTube's advanced specifications. YouTube currently supports 360° videos with 24, 25, 30, 48, 50, or 60 frames per second. We recommend uploading 360 videos (equirectangular format with a 2:1 aspect ratio) at a resolution of 7168x3584 or higher, up to 8192x4096."

My 360 editing software (Cyberlink PowerDirector 15) prefers 3840x1920 (personally I wish it accepted 3840x2160!)
