Issue 7154
Exported character has messed up textures
I just export the base 3.3+ default character as OBJ, import into Blender 2.83 with Keep Vert Order/Poly Groups, and the head and body textures are all in wrong places. CC3.2 didn't have this problem.

Another bug that may still exist is that when I imported a male character from CC3.2, the head and body diffuse textures are linked to a reflection map by default, and relinking to diffuse map of respective body parts can not fix the problem.

Hi Calvin, my Internet broke down and my ISP took 5 business days to fix (which is very slow). I am surprised that more than a week later, the related mismatch issue is solved by me first... Using paying customers as debuggers is not a good idea, especially when basic functions break upon first uses. I spent more time trying to fix problems than actually working on projects since purchase.

Here is the full project file and export on Google Drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1nrtl37zPyUllRVz1ThhD0s_90krFTDoA?usp=sharing

I tried a FBX export of the base male character, the general appearance looked fine. But I just randomly moved a few sliders here and there, and the textures broke beyond repair. Even when I made sure that Blender is pulling the right texture from the right folder.

Hi path.to.the.future,

Thanks for your feedback!
Could you send your OBJ with mtl to us?
You can upload to cloud service such as Google Drive, and attach the download link in your next comment.
Also, do you have other 3D software such as Maya / 3dsMax / 3DXchange, could you import OBJ to these software to see if the texture still wrong?
Thanks for your help!

Calvin
Reallusion.
