Issue 8493
Dragging and dropping a project from file explorer results in incorrect aspect ratio in viewer.
I have projects created in iClone 7 that have an aspect ratio of 2048 x 858. In iClone 8, if I open the project via the file menu, the viewer aspect is correct but if I open a project by dragging and dropping from the File Explorer into the viewer, the vertical gets stretched to fill the default 16:9(?) ratio, resulting in everything being visually stretched taller than it should be. This doesn't happen in IC7.

Thanks and sorry for the delay, I’ve just gotten back from some time in hospital. I’ll try and get that project file uploaded to you tomorrow.

Cheers,

Hi Molly,

After some surgery next week I should be fine, thanks for asking.

I just went to upload the sample files but thought I should test before I did and everything is working just fine. I tried multiple project files and it seems that version 8.01 has fixed the issue.

I can still upload a file if you need it but from my point of view, the problem is resolved. (now off to see if anyone has reported the weird camera issues that IC7 projects have in IC8.)

All the best,
Jeff K
