Dragging "Expression" into Timeline deletes all expressions to the right of it
Add an Expression track to the Timeline, and drag an expression into it, (For example, 01_Anger_Lo), leaving plenty of room to the left of the Expression for another expression. Now drag another expression onto the timeline to the left of the first one. Note that the first one will be deleted.
Dropping an expression onto the timeline like this will delete all other expressions to the right of it. This occurs whether or not the expression overlaps any existing expressions.
Important: Note that this does NOT occur with the Motion track unless the motion would overlap with another track.
This bug makes it extremely cumbersome to do work on the "left" of the Timeline.
Expected result of dropping an Expression: Expression should be added without deleting any other clips, unless the overlap would completely remove said clip.
I've attached an example that shows me dropping an Expression onto a busy timeline. Notice how much gets delete by doing this.
Actual result of dropping an Expression: Every rightward clip on the Timeline is deleted.
Hi dan.goyette,
The current behavior is expected. If the following expression clip overlaps with the expression which you want to apply, the overlapping expression will be deleted.
