Do not include the camera in the list of instances to be rendered
At the END of a .mi file, there is an instance group ("instgroup") and the render command.
The instgroup contains a list of instances, which in this case is a list of all the objects which will be rendered. It makes no sense for the camera to attempt to render itself.
I have confirmed that the file renders fine, even with the camera instance removed from the group of items to be rendered.
REQUEST: - Remove the camera from the list of items that will be rendered (the "instgroup").
This is a MINOR issue.
I did some additional testing, and it does not appear to impact performance in any significant way. But there is no value I can see in having the Camera in the "instgroup," so it would be more neat and clean to leave it out.
