Custom Clothing item disperses when new cloths are added character CC3+ issue
Issues are only present for for character CC3+
Steps 1. Add obj (1) into scene 2. turn obj (1) into clothing item 3 save clothing item in content 4. delete clothing item from scene 4. Add another obj (2) into scene 5. turn obj (2) into clothing item 6 Save clothing item in content 7. Now try and add obj (1) from content library back into scene 8. ERROR clothing item obj (2) disperses ....Cannot have obj (1) and obj (2) items in scene at once.
Did you set them to different cloth layers? If you save something, it gets automatically an cloth layer.
If you add clothes, they can not been added to a cloth layer, which is already assigned, then the first clothes will be replaced.
(not sure if hat is your issue, but try and look for the "Modify > cloth layer settings"
I ran into an similar issue and the solution was, to assign to each clothing an own cloth layer.
