In order to save an outfit for a character, I have to save the character itself along with the selected shoes, socks, pants/skirt, shirt/blouse, coat/sweater, etc. It would be much more efficient (not to mention convenient) to save all the items in a group without the character mesh. That way the 'outfit' could be easily used for other characters, or imported into new scenes for continuity of dress.
