Issue 8148
Crashes during editing of animation
I've been working on a project with a simple avatar, a chair and a table. I've got facial mocap through MotionLive in the Expression track. I've added audio using an audio file and manually changing the visemes (language is Dutch so the AccuLips don't work well).
Now I'm adding body motion to the avatar. I'm basically using ActorCore animations (I had several packs) and am locking the avatar feet and hip with Reach Targets. I add an animation and start making changes to keep the hands/arms out of the table.
It worked fine for days. Now I added two new Motion clips and overlapped the second some 20 frames with the first. From then on the issue started. iClone just crashed with an Exception Error. It now keeps crashing at "random" point during editing and even once during saving.

Any idea how to tackle a sudden issue like this? Normally iClone never crashes on me. No change to my computer (Win10 latest updates) for weeks and I've been using iClone during that time without any issues.

Hi Molly,

Thanks for getting back to me.
I managed to get my session finished without further crashes. Not sure why it happened like 5-6 times in a row.
I will keep an eye out on this problem and when it occurs again I will create the dump file and send it over to you for inspection.

For now I guess you can close this ticket. Apologies for opening it, when it seems to have solved itself!

Take care,
Marco
