Issue 7567
Convert to Game Base creates a low quality texture bake
Game base generates UVs that are ok (in that the UVs shell distribution/scale makes a lot more sense than a basic instaLOD export without game base) but the actual texture that gets transferred is very low quality.

I've attached a comparison using a 2048 texture along with the face baked out at 4096 to show the lower quality that game base produces.

Currently, an instaLOD export without game base producing a smaller UV shell for the head provides a higher quality result than a game base export with a larger UV shell for the head. Lots of detail is lost after a game base conversion.

My request would be to re-visit the game base texture transfer method. Whatever process is being done currently is producing a very low quality result.
