Collision Shapes (G6 & CC) very bad for long hair when character bends forward
The pictures tell it all. When a character with long hair bends forward, a huge lump appears beneath the hair. It looks like there is an invisible head sprouting between the shoulder blades.
DESIRED RESULT: The hair should lay on her back, not 10 inches away from it.
About the pictures, and hopefully the appear in this order: a) BENT OVER... SEE THE HUGE GAP... THIS IS VERY BAD. b) Looks okay when standing... See the collision shape when standing c) SEE THE COLLISION SHAPE POSITION WHEN BENT OVER... that explains the bad hair day --- Note: First three pictures are a G6 avatar, then last to are a CC avatar d) CC avatar has the same problem with upper back (Spine 3) collision shape e) CC avatar also has a problem with waist collision shape
Potential workaround is to deactivate the existing "Spine 3" and possibly the "Waist" collision shapes, and replace them with custom ones attached to the shoulder (clavicle) bones. Ones attached to the clavicle bones follow the character better when bending, at least up near the shoulder blades, and during some arm motions, but I haven't tested a full range of arm motions yet.
As with most workarounds, that should NOT be necessary.
