Dear iClone Tech Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to seek assistance with a persistent issue I've been encountering regarding cloth stretching when enabling physics in iClone.
I have diligently attempted various troubleshooting steps to address the problem, including:
Adjusted Cloth Settings: Experimented with parameters such as "Stretch Stiffness" and "Compression Stiffness" under the "Physics" tab in the "Modify" panel to control cloth flexibility.
Checked Collision Settings: Ensured that collision settings are properly configured to prevent cloth intersection with the character's body.
Refined Mesh and Weight Map: Verified the accuracy of the cloth mesh and weight map to represent cloth movement with the character's body.
Increased Cloth Resolution: Attempted to resolve the issue by increasing the resolution of the cloth.
Adjusted Simulation Settings: Experimented with gravity, wind, and damping settings to find a balance that minimizes stretching.
Used Cloth Layer: Employed the Cloth Layer feature to isolate physics simulation to specific parts of the character's attire.
Checked Character Rigging: Ensured the character's rigging is sound, as flawed rigging may contribute to unexpected stretching.
Updated Software: Confirmed that I am using the latest version of iClone to rule out potential issues addressed in software updates.
Despite these efforts, the cloth stretching issue persists. For a clearer understanding of the problem, I have attached a video that demonstrates the issue.
https://youtu.be/e4F1yYUCyoMI would greatly appreciate your expertise and guidance in resolving this matter. Any insights, suggestions, or steps you could provide to overcome this challenge would be immensely helpful.
Thank you for your time and support.
