CTA 3.1 closes automatically few seconds after launch with error message "This serial number is invalid. Please contact Reallusion."
I had a paid version of CTA 3 Pipeline and I downloaded the 3.1 patch and installed it. It seems that the installation was without errors being that no errors were displayed and the installation concluded with a message saying that the 3.1 patch has been installed.

However now when I start CTA, the application closes after a few seconds with the message "This serial number is invalid. Please contact Reallusion. CrazyTalk Animator 3 will now close."

Screen shot of the error message is attached.

I have also launched the application under a local admin account and the behavior is the same.

Registries possibly messed up by other software, reinstall resolved the problem.
