Hi tomelissaconway, There is a walkaround. You can import abc file to Cinema 4D or Blend, then export abc from Cinema 4D or Blend. This abc can import to iClone. Molly Reallusion
Okay, so I realized after re-reading your last comment that you suggested I provide a link here in the comments to the .abc document I'm having trouble with. I'm not familiar with sharing a document in that manner. I looked it up and found directions on how to share via Google drive, which I use. However, at the part where it says, "To decide what people can do with your public link when you share it, select Viewer, Commenter, or Editor," I don't know which of these three options you require. Please advise. Thank you.
Hi tomelissaconway, I have got it.Thanks. Molly Reallusion
Sorry! It sent the access request to an email I don't normally use. Access granted now.
Hi tomelissaconway, It needs you to open access before I can download it.Thanks. Molly Reallusion
Hello, You can select "Viewer". Thank you. Soya Reallusion
Thank you, Soya. Where do I send the file exactly?
Hi tomelissaconway, For alembic, we only support the .abc format at the moment. If you drag .abc to iC7.93 and it crashes, please share your file with us. You can use cloud services such as Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive to send your file to us and write down the link in your comment. Thank you. Soya Reallusion
Also, as an fyi, the alembic file in question easily imports into Blender.
