Issue 817
Ability to export the currently selected sprite in the Sprite Editor
CTA 3 surely provides a great step toward an easier way create custom characters.

However one functionality that is still not particularly user-friendly is the Sprite Editor.

This functionality theoretically allows the replacing of a particular single sprite, but in practice the replacing works well only when the user knows the pixel size of the image and extent of the body included by CTA for the selected part (and when the original source image is still available somewhere, unaltered).

The utility and user-friendliness of this functionality would be increased if a button to export the currently selected sprite (as png, svg, etc) was added to the Sprite Editor.

The image thus exported could be used to perfectly replace the selected sprite after it has been altered by the user in an external tool.

Note that there is of course the "Launch to external image editor" tool but this tool is greyed out for some parts of the characters, while the Sprite Editor is available for all parts
