We need a 3rd party forums or similar.
RL is now stretching out it's tentacles into unknown territory for many of us.
I would appreciate to view and read tutorials and other information from RL users and interested persons about the application of 3rd party softwares that help us (RL users) with our projects.
The recent release of CC 1.5 is a perfect example.
The advanced tutorials discuss - Maya, Marvelous Designer, Xnet,Zbrush in one tutorial.
All these advanced CC 1.5 tutorials discuss and explain the use of CC with other 3rd party applications.
The use and explanation of all these softwares should be enough validation for RL to provide a subforums, probably best under IClone for using RL products and other 3rd party applications for developing RL finished content.
There is no way I can afford all those softwares to work with CC, but I am sure there are RL users on the forums who can create tutorials, share their experiences, using "Indie" priced software to accomplish the same things.
The purpose of such a forums would not be to PROMOTE 3rd party products.
The purpose would be to encourage sharing between RL users of 3rd party applications applied to RL work.
Any discussions of other 3rd party applications must be purposefully explained for the cross-over usage with RL applications and products.
Moderators can simply delete outright promotion threads of 3rd party products unless the threads discuss working with 3rd party applications to assist and teach RL users how the applications apply to RL project production.
Here is a good example of such information, this is not a tutorial, but could be developed users applying the plugin to their projects. It may require lengthy or short responses...but these are the kinds of things that will enable us to save time, and produce better projects. Thanks to Rampa for sharing this.

I believe I can do the bridges with IClone physics tools, but I'm not too sure the foliage wouldn't be more difficult.
